Utah has been a little too cold for a little too long so I've managed to go to California as often as possible in the last little bit and I'm not too mad about it. I went on my first road trip to California in what seems like FOREVER and it was awesome. I broke in my new Subi-Ruby (I got a new car a couple of months ago) and reminded myself what life is like with OUT flight benefits. I'm not sure I could drive to California every weekend, but with the awesome company I had, the trip wasn't half bad. I'm usually pretty okay with coming back to Utah after being gone for a while, but this trip was a little harder for me. I can't wait to get back to the sun and family and friends. San Diego has been calling my name for a while now and one of these days I'm gonna start planting some roots there (at least in my dreams i will).
We went to the Zoo, played at the beach, ate really good food, visited family, flew some kites, and laughed our heads off. Pretty much the greatest road trip of all time.
