Holly's Wedding

A few days after we got back from O'Fallon, Hazel and I got on a plane and flew to Utah for Holly's wedding.  Holly was a beautiful bride and the wedding and reception were absolutely perfect!  I'm so happy for her and Brandon!  Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Greenburg!

My mom was really nice and came up to Utah that weekend so she could see us and help me with baby girl during the wedding shenanigans.

Hazel got to play with cousins on the Foster side this time around... She and Ben really love each other.

And we got to visit Grandma June while we were in town, which is always a treat.

I got to visit some friends as well... Willi and Meagan.  We love Mississippi, but we sure do miss Utah and all the people in it.

Christmas in O'Fallon

Christmas 2014 was a good one!  It was Hazel's first Christmas!!  Chris got about a month off of school so we were able to spend a few weeks in O'Fallon with Chris' family.  We got there first and got some good one on one time with Jane, Richard, and Amanda before the rest of the family showed up.  All of Chris' brothers were able to come out so this was the 2nd Christmas in a row that the whole clan got to be together for the holidays.  And this time we had a few new additions... Cody, Hazel, and Spencer's girlfriend Alli... and baby Boston, still in the womb ;)

We did a ton of fun stuff while we were there.  I have been dying to go to the butterfly house ever since Chris and I visited before we were even engaged (in 2012).  And it did NOT disappoint.  I could probably go there everyday.

Hazel turned 8 months while we were there so I snapped a quick picture.  She started crawling/scooting at the beginning of December and she loves to move.  I love her face in this one though.  She is a happy, happy baby and I love it.

Tyler and Rachel got in before Christmas so we got to spend Christmas morning watching the boy's open their presents.  They are very entertaining that is for sure, and Hazel LOVED being around so much action.  The picture below pretty much sums it up :)

I made Chris take a picture with Hazel on Christmas morning right after she woke up... I think babies are the cutest right when they wake up.  I wish she would just stay little forever.

Santa brought her blocks and bath toys!  She also got books and clothes and more awesome toys from grandparents.

And, since Chan and Dev and Spence and Al got in a couple days after Christmas, we got TWO Christmases!  Blake and Austin were especially excited about that.

We also made it out to the City Museum one day... I love this place!!  Chris and I went on a date here when we were visiting back in 2012 so it holds fond memories for me.  Not to mention, its a super fun museum.  I hope we can come back here one day when Hazel is older and can appreciate all it has to offer.  I took her down her first slide while we were here... it was 2 stories high and she wasn't even scared.

Also, Chris got us the best stroller ever made... a Shark!  it has a fin on the top and everything.

Holidays with family are always fun.  We played Nertz every chance we got, the boys played disc golf, the girls went shopping, and the kids played all day.  It was so fun to spend time with everyone.

I am so grateful for this little family of mine... and the great family I came from and the awesome family I married into.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
