Happy Birthday Grandpa Al

It was Chris' Grandpa Al's birthday so we stopped by and had some cake with Grandma June and Grandpa Al.  Turns out, Grandpa Al and my Grandpa Harrison are only 2 days apart!  Grandpa Harrison was born on April 15th, and Grandpa Al on the 17th... both turned 85 this year.  That's a pretty big deal in my book.  So glad we have such awesome Grandpas and one that lives so close...

Goblin Valley

A few weekends ago, Chris and I took advantage of the nice weather and headed down to Goblin Valley for a night.  We set up camp off the side of the road and then hiked little wild horse canyon the next day.  Goblin Valley is just 3 1/2 hours south of where we live and it is awesome.  We did the 8 mile loop of little wild horse canyon and bells canyon and checked out Goblin Valley before we headed back.  Perfect weather for a perfect weekend.  We will definitely have to go back again soon.
