change
change is an interesting part of life. i've never liked change... in fact it usually scares me to the point of tears. but change is what makes us grow, and without it the world would be a very dull and lifeless place. so, despite my fears, i tip my hat to the scary empty pages of my future... i hope they are filled with everything wonderful... and i will always think fondly of the memories from my past. provo has done me well... i think maybe i will miss it.

bedtime stories...
this is a story about a boy and a girl.
...
this is jeremy. he likes to drive his car to scary dark places with his girlfriend.
it kind of freaks her out.
one day they decided to try to find the great salt lake. they parked their car in a dark scary place and started walking...
they walked for miles until janelle, unable to bear the awful stench, sat down in defeat.
jeremy offered to plug her nose... if she plugged his. so they did.. and continued walking.
they walked until the wretched smelling mud caked the bottoms of their shoes... and gnats swarmed around their ankles. finally they found it. the great salt lake. it was disgusting. so they ran back to the dark scary place where their car was parked, and took this terrible picture...

all my hard work...
finally paid off.
Jeremy and I went bowling. I am usually a terrible bowler (and i proved that statement true after our first game last night)... HOWEVER, all the pain and aggravation caused by my bowling class last semester, finally paid off. Our second game, I got my all time highest score of 144... and my first turkey (and no mom, not the bird).
and don't worry, even though he lost, jeremy did pretty well himself...

moving...
i am moving. but i'm not exactly sure where i am going. hopefully hawaii... maybe california or arizona... and if none of those work out, back to utah. i have mixed feelings about it. i hate change. i hate making decisions. and i'm not a fan of starting over and making new friends. but its kind of liberating to know that i can go anywhere i want to. i love being free.

lately...
i've been loving summertime...
today i ran behind a waterfall. some friends and i hiked up to stuart falls and it was beautiful.
monday i floated down the provo river with some friends. it was awesome but the water was freezing (and i mean freezing). there were a couple of times when i was seriously worried about my limbs falling off my body due to the cold. i went with my friend jed and some of his friends from work. they were super cool and we had ourselves a pretty good time floating on air mattresses down the river. there were a couple of times where the river may have been too much for the mattresses, but we made it out with only a couple of near death-by-freezing-cold-water experiences.
also, i went down to the salt lake city arts festival on sunday and saw some amazing art work. my favorite was a guy from logan who painted pictures with his own blood, and also this photographer, cat palmer. good art, good people, good music=good time.
