Happy New Year

This year we spent New Years at the Cameron's. We ate our little hearts out, played pool, drank Martinelli's, and had a dance party till 2 in the morning.

I've been talking to my nephew Chase about going skiing together sometime while he is in Provo visiting his mom... and we FINALLY did it! We went up to Snowbird on Friday and had a grand old time. Chase is awesome!!

Georgia Peaches...

I flew out to Atlanta for a couple of days to meet up with my parents and help Trevor and Roxanne move. I hadn't seen these babes in FOREVER so we had a real good time hanging out. Lila and Keller are seriously the cutest and I cant wait for baby boy to come and win us all over as well.

Christmas Miracle!!!

So, I know people talk about Christmas miracles all the time but I'm pretty sure I had a Christmas miracle this year that TRUMPS THEM ALL!!! So here is the story: I haven't been home for Christmas in YEARS... I always have to work and subsequently celebrate Christmas the week after, when I can get time off and go home. Well, this year my parents were going to be out of town the week after Christmas making this the first year that I really wouldn't be making it home for the holidays. No big deal right? I'm getting pretty used to working over the holidays. Well, this year I was scheduled to be in Houston for Christmas Eve, but last minute they changed my trip and gave me an ONTARIO OVERNIGHT... on CHRISTMAS EVE. Now, let me just explain to you how rare and AWESOME this was. I have been a flight attendant for almost a year and a half now... and I have NEVER ONCE gotten an Ontario overnight... and most Ontario overnights get in real late and leave first thing the next morning. But, this trip got me to California at 4 in the afternoon (letting me spend all of Christmas Eve with my family) and left at 9 in the morning Christmas day. So I called my brother in law Duane and had him pick me up so I could surprise my family. Seriously THE GREATEST. I didn't think I cared much if I was home for Christmas or not, but after being there with my family and adorable nieces and nephews, I realized how important it really was. I love my family so much. I'm so grateful for them and for this Christmas season to remember the birth of our Savior and better understand the TRUE reason we are all here.

I'm pretty sure my mom is going to kill me for posting these pictures so if you don't hear from me for a while you may want to do some investigation... but these pictures are too good NOT to post. Im sure my parents were real glad I made them do a photo shoot with a chocolate mustache first thing Christmas morning. Ha Ha Ha!!!!

Christmas at our house

The girls at our house celebrated Christmas a week early before most of us went home to spend the holidays with our families. We did a Secret Santa gift exchange that wasn't quite so secret, but really great none the less. Jelissa's mom Camille went all out too and was the Ultimate Santa Clause for us girls. She spoiled us! And we LOVED every second of it.
